"Elevate" is a digital storytelling application targeted at those aged 25 – 35 experiencing anxiety, depression or a general sense of lack of motivation in their life. Its purpose, to promote positivity and assist users of the app in helping combat their health obstacles by setting achievable personal goals, customising users needs based on three "core" aspects of their life: mental health, physical health and emotional/spiritual health. It is up to the user alone to decide what "core/s" they want to improve on, but it is not a substitute for a professional psychologist or a counsellor. Users of the app will have access to helpful/motivational and informative blogs, search for places offering professional help, etc. (Baring in mind, this is only a prototype of the application and is only a university project).
